They are listed by base price from cheapest to most expensive, all prices include destination charges, but not incentives or taxes and fees.

To make the list useful to as many car buyers as possible, all prices include an automatic transmission, raising the price of some models that offer a manual.

For vehicles with more than one transmission option, the EPA estimated combined mpg rating is for the automatic model.

At the top of the list of the most expensive cars, the Mirage is a small hatchback that seats up to five people.

The combination of the small 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine and the optional continuously variable automatic transmission delivers a great EPA-estimated gas mileage of 39 mpg combined but comes at the expense of efficiency.

Mirage is slow. That said, we thought it was fun to drive the last time we reviewed it.

For 2021, the Mirage has a refreshed face and redesigned rear bumper, an updated interior with new soft-touch panels, a new 7-inch touchscreen, and standard safety features including speed brakes.
